Back mechanics: the origin of pain, correction, and prevention.
Time & Location
About The Event
Pain always has roots. Determining and addressing those roots are not enough. The roots can regrow, unless we determine, analyze, and correct the soil which feeds those roots. That is the main purpose of this workshop.
Please keep in mind:
- There are no quick fixes.
If you have a troublesome back it did not happen overnight unless you got into a car accident or a fight. And no, the awkward way you bent last night hurting the back was just the final straw that broke the camel’s back. It most probably happened because of the accumulative effect of the ways you have been using your back from a very young age, your lifestyle, and some other things we will be discussing during the workshop.
- We need to learn.
As with everything, to improve something you must, first, learn how it is organized and works. Second, determine how it might break. And third, devise the ways and tools for improvement. If your car suddenly breaks down in the middle of nowhere, kicking the tire will not fix the car, neither numerous crunches, sit-ups, superman, stretching will fix your back.
- It always takes time.
Any long term solution takes time. How much no one can tell. From my experience, the first signs of improvement can be noticeable as soon as in a week. Of course, it might well take two or three months to see significant improvements. It all depends on the current conditions, your desire to learn and change, and your determination and consistency. Pretty much standard for anything we do in life.
